  • 12/23/06 - Socks wi'oot feets?
    Well, long time no update, it's been over two months.
    I feel I must explain myself. You see, after hearing PJ wouldn't be directing The Hobbit I fell into a raging depression for several weeks during which I did nothing but read The Hobbit over and over again. Finally with the support of my family and friends I gathered my shattered life together and decided to do something about it. I took a road trip to the New Line Cinema main office and confronted the CEO about it. I grabbed the pencils out of his pencil holder and told him if he didn't let PJ direct the Hobbit I'd give him a detailed re-enactment of the fight between Smaug and Bard. He said no.
    After the police dragged me away and extracted the pencils from the CEO, I spent several weeks in jail. I'm out now, the therapy and anger management are helping but I still can't be allowed near a pencil.

    Actually that's all a complete lie. But it's much more interesting than what really happened... PC problems and a freakishly hard semester at Uni. Hey you can't say I don't try to make things interesting for you.
    Anyway, as a peace offering for the huge space between updates I bring you 17 new additions to the gallery. 1 in FOTR, 1 in TTT, 1 in ROTK, and 14 in Misc.
    Also, new Caption Contest pic up. Old one is archived. And a new addition to the Parodies section - The Urukhai Instruction Manual for Raiding and Pillaging.

    There's 6 new pics in the spoof gallery. 5 in Misc and 1 in TTT.
    Caption Contest updated and closed.
    As you may have noticed we now have a splash page/portal thinger connecting the websites run by LOTRSpoofs.
    I've finished revamping Beware the Chipmunk as I mentioned some time ago that I was going to be doing. I've not changed the content, that's all TQ's, I just redecorated and rearranged.
    I was having some issues with the menu floating over the text, but I think I fixed it, please let me know if there are any problems. Either way, BTC is best viewed using FireFox.
    I've also added a Google search bar to the portal... using it helps support LOTRSpoofs.
    That's all this time!

    Caption Contest updated, I'll judge it next time. I've begun commenting on some captions just for fun (and to be curmudgeonly and correct people).
    The next caption contest picture will be an excellent picture that couldn't possibly have a stupid fart caption or a tutu caption...because dakras is going to choose it, and it will be perfect. (did I mention I like being a curmudgeon?)

    Updated the Caption Contest and closed it out of sheer disappointment. The captions are just getting worse and worse -_- I didn't even put up a lot of the ones submitted they were so bad. Maybe I'm just picking bad pictures? Better luck next time, and please lets not be SO predictable.
    Many new avatars up in that section. Thanks to my friend M1 of Ringbearer who kindly allowed me to steal them from her collection. We also have 4 new spoof pics. 3 in FOTR and 1 in Misc. That's all this time.

    Updated the Caption Contest, there were a few I didn't put up because they were too painfully stupid. Sorry. We have 7 new additions to the Avatar section, and for the first time in years we have new Personality Tests, 9 of em. I'm sure the tests have been around for a while, but I haven't checked for new ones in ages. New ones are on the bottom. That's all for now.

    Massive caption contest update, over 60 submissions. May I reiterate the rule that the captions MUST be signed ... as anything. Or else I delete them (unless I find them amusing at which time I will make up a ridiculous name for you, and it serves you right for not signing). That's all for now.     Updated the Caption Contest. Two new spoofs up in the Misc section. And we have the 15th and final issue of The Middle Earth Tattler up. Collinsmom hasn't written anymore issues as far as I know, but I may contact her and ask if she will be writing any more sometime soon. 's all.

    New pic up in the Caption Contest finally! 11 new spoof pics, 10 in Misc, 1 in FOTR.
    I've recieved several requests to archive/save Bagginses.com. I just want to let you all know, I contacted the webmistress of Bagginses quite a while ago regarding this and she assured me that the site is not going anywhere, it is simply not going to be updated with new content.
    Should such a time come that it looks like it will disappear from the net I will gladly save it if I can, however right now it doesn't need saving so I'm not going to spend time and space to host it. Wisdom of the Day - Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

    Also, a while back the site Beware the Chipmunk was bequeathed to me by its owner TQ to do with as I wish. I'm working on restructuring that site in my small bits of spare time, so look forward to seeing that. It will then become a sister site of LOTRSpoofs.

    Ok I decided instead of bothering with LJ or Xanga, for now I'll just implement a mailing list. If you want to know when the site is updated, sign up and I'll e-mail you each time it's updated. I hope this will help, because I know I update rather sporadically and nobody ever knows when there's going to be new material.
    Sign up form is at the left under the menu.
    That taken care of, on to normal update-ness. Caption Contest updated, I hope to judge it soon-ish. Two new additions to the Parodies section. 22 Ways to Annoy Saruman by Raven, and Legolas's Inbox by Maroozer have been added.

  • 1/17/06 - To blog or not to blog... answer my question
    Caption contest updated. Two new animated gif movies are in the Parodies section. New poll up, results of the old one are in the poll archives. I have re-activated the guestbook, trying to see if the grammatically challanged spambots have been taken care of.
    I'm thinking of possibly changing these updates to the same type I have on WizardWheezes to enable usercomments, but I'd like a little feedback as to whether or not that would be a good idea. I'm also thinking of possibly starting a livejournal or xanga for LOTRSpoofs, just for updates. I know I update so sporadically it's hard to know when to expect new stuff, I thought a xanga and/or LJ post every time I update could help with that. Give me your thoughts via the form at the bottom of the page HERE on either or both issues please!

An e-mail address and birthdate are required, but I highly doubt Sony Pictures will spam your inbox, I think you're safe. You'll only have to enter your information once, but you can vote once a day. Please do this for me, I would appreciate it muchly.

    Slight change in site layout, got rid of those pesky frames, put up a new less-carpy banner, fixed the pics that weren't working in the caption contest archives.
    I've put up a new pic in the Caption Contest, so start submitting! I put something up on the messageboard a while back about fanfiction, I'm curious what other people think of it... post your opinions, feel free to disagree with my hate of fanfic, I like to argue.
    Otherwise no new news... it's final exam time at Uni and I'm going to be MIA for the next 2 weeks or so. I'll still stop by to update the contest, but no real updating until finals are over, sorry. - Nevermore

  • 3/16/05 - LOTRSpoofs.NET
    I know I know, "WHAT HAPPENED?!" you ask? It's explained briefly here. But, after considerable trouble we are back. At the moment we're just back to where we were before the site went down, no new content except the caption contest, but I shall remedy that soon enough.
    I've also discovered several neato things I can do to make the site better, including a messageboard that is (finally) ad-free and completely owned by LOTR Spoofs. Also working on a poll that does NOT make pop-up ads appear.
    For now, it's just good to be back.

    New Poll up today, in the last one Eowyn was most voted for. Aragorn ran a close race with Socks, but socks won by 4 votes...most likely because they were bound to smell better.
    Over 50 new additions to the caption contest, I'll try to get that judged after I finish my final exams.

    I am very pleased to announce that Ringbearer.org now has a book. Without RB, this site wouldn't exist, it was the very first Tolkien site I ever joined and has remained my home, inspiration, and all time favorite LOTR site for over four years.     Hullo. Updated the caption contest. I just went through some of the old contests and took a few of the funnier ones and put them in the official Spoofs section, been meaning to do that for a while. If you've never read the old caption contests these'll be new to you (Captain Obvious strikes again). There's one in the FOTR section, three in TTT, and two in Misc. That's all for now, I've had people send me stuff that needs putting up, but it'll have to wait til next update.

    As I'm sure few Americans need to be reminded, today is the 3rd anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the US. We will always remember those who lost their lives in that tragedy and will always hold in highest respect and honor those who gave their lives that day and the days following. The firefighters, police, and others who willingly made the ultimate sacrifice to save others should be an example to us all...     Alright... yesterday wasn't much of an update... so I decided to do some more.
    I've updated the FAQs section and added a FRCs section as well. Please read it, it helps cut down on my mail if you can find your answer there already.
    Judged the Caption Contest and in my typical indecisiveness picked two winners. Congrats to Mr.Lukie, and Aniviel New pic will be up next update.
    New Poll is up, last one it seems we were tied with RocksXWildMen = Wocks, and EntsXGoblins = Entlins. I was rooting for Gobbits myself but alas, they don't seem to be that popular.

    Okay, as many of you have noticed I added a form on the caption contest page so that you can just submit captions that way and don't have to e-mail me. So far it seems to be a great success...
    The caption contest has been updated and is now CLOSED, any further submissions won't be accepted. I'll try to judge that as soon as possible. There's a new poem in the Parody section. I'm trying to work out another poll question too. That's all for now... it's Summer everyone, go outside and get some fresh air!

    Okay, as of today I'm getting more critical of the spoofs sent in... if it doesn't make me laugh, I'm not putting it up. Originally I wanted all the spoofs to go that way but lately I've just been putting up whatever has been sent to me. No offense to those I've put up recently, most of it I like, but a few have been put up that I'm not thrilled with. So, yeah, quality control going up...
    Some people sent me links of sites they want me to look at and I apologize for not getting back to them yet... I'm going to try and look at them soon. If I don't get back to you soon, feel free to e-mail me again. I get a lot of spam and may have deleted your e-mail along with the spam by accident.

    I had at least hoped to get criticism by something with more than regurgitated spam for brains. PLEASE if you want to insult me, by all means, do so!
    Just do it intelligently and use interesting words. Otherwise it's out of the guestbook you go. (for the record, I did indeed delete a couple posts there...only because of the swearing, otherwise I would have left their comments up and let them embarrass themselves. They went along the lines of "F*** YOUR A** or something like that... it's so sad that people are unable to articulate themselves these days)

  • 2/5/04 - Back at Last!
    Well....we're back. I know the site was down for several weeks, for which I apologize. Many people were wondering what was up with the site going down so let me explain. We were using too much bandwidth, meaning lots and lots of people were visiting, and the amount of bandwidth I was paying for wasn't enough, so the site would keep getting shut down whenever we used too much. Well that was because Geocities sucks and charges too much for too little bandwidth. So, we are now hosted by iPowerWeb, who is giving us four times as much bandwidth for less money So hopefully our site crashing problems are over... I know the site looks pretty much the same to you all but trust me, from my end things look totally different and I'm still getting used to the new server so bear with me, the site is bigger than it looks and when one person is working on it, it's pretty tough...especially considering this is just a hobby of mine and I go to Uni, work, and occasionally attempt to have a life...
    Now, back to business....we have 5 new spoofs (yay!) three in the FOTR section, one in Misc and one in TTT. The caption contest has been updated, soon to be judged. Two new ROTK bloopers, and 58 new additions to the You might be Obsessed list. I'm currently attempting to get a new banner up top there since the current one is so crappy...it's going to take a bit of "persuasion" *cough**cough*threatening*cough**cough* on my part to get it but hopefully Byonder will be in a good mood next time I ask...

  • 1/17/04 - Apparently LOTR Spoofs has been mentioned in a newspaper, that's pretty cool. Those of you who heard about the site from that newspaper in Singapore, if one of you could e-mail me a scan of that section I'd really appreciate it!
    Okay, major bandwidth eatage over the past couple days...looks like the site is going down yet again. This is quite annoying. I'm currently searching for a new host, so never fear, this won't go on indefinitely. !!ATTENTION!!-Should the site go down, we will be back up on Feb 8th! Also, please note that even if the site is unavailable, the messageboard will always be up.

  • 1/14/04 - Knew I forgot something last time... I didn't archive the last poll. Well it's archived now. Also, in keeping with the whole archive theme of this update, I archived the guestbook cuz it was getting full..so now we have a squeaky clean, empty guestbook. Put up the new caption contest pic also, so have at it!

  • 01/12/04 - Okay, finally judged the caption contest, congrats to Lila! New pic will be up in a couple days.
    Since the old MB was really a pain in the butt, we have a NEW MESSAGEBOARD, it’s on ezboards...so that it’s easy :p Give this one a try.
    There's a new poll up, not very inventive, still trying to think of a good one.
    Two new Parodies in that section, thanks to Evadne for permission to use her Breadbox Editions of LOTR. There's a few additions (148-151) to the You Might be Obsessed..." list and a new song in the Song Parodies section.
    ROTK bloopers are now up! I think that's it for now...there might be more that I forgot...oh well...next update I guess.

  • 01/02/04 - Happy New Year everyone! Well, believe it or not, today LOTR Spoofs is officially a year old! (and there was much rejoicing) In commemoration of this occasion, I’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to the site over the past year, LOTR Spoofs is largely fan supported as far as content goes, so Thank You all!
    I've updated the Caption Contest, going to judge that soon...those of you wondering what the time schedule is for it...well, it’s actually totally random, I just put a new one up whenever there seems to be a lot of captions for the current one... yes, it’s confusing that way and I’m sorry, but my life is rather random at the moment so it’s the best we can do...
    Three new tests in the Personality Tests section, a new ROTK Parody and new additions to the "You might be Obsessed" list in the Parodies section. Also, three new links.I would have a new poll for you but I am utterly without inspiration...any ideas let me know.

  • 12/29/03 - Okay, sorry there haven't been any real updates for a while...it may be because I was really busy with work and stuff...or it might have been because I was busy spending time with my family for the holidays, or it might be that I wasn't busy at all and was just sitting in my room watching episodes of Naruto and deciding to ignore you all...hmmmm....
    Well whatever the reason (maybe all three) I am back now, and we have major updates... first off, the caption contest has been updated. Second, we have a few new additions to the "You might be a Hobbit if..." list. Fifth...or...wait... next there is a note about Shadowfax that has been added about one of the TTT bloopers, it's in the Gandalf and Shadowfax section. We also have some new additions to the random trivia section, the first five or so in the Misc - The Numbers section. There's three new additions to the Parodies section, we have the Shortened FOTR, 50 Reasons LOTR Sucks, and Frodo and Body Odor (yes...it disturbed me too...) I have one or two more parodies that were sent in that I have yet to read... I haven't forgotten about them. I'm hoping to organize the parodies section a bit better sometime soon... it's becoming a bit of a mess with all the new additions... Okay...I think that's all... the computer screen is looking a bit blurry now...I think my eyes are melting, I probably should go to bed. Have a good New Year everyone!

  • 12/22/03 - Well...we're back... may I direct your attention to the address bar in your browser? Geocities found it in their heart to do their job and answer my numerous e-mails finally... it must be the Christmas spirit
    Still having slight issues with the counter but the rest of the site appears to be in good working order. If anyone notices something going out of whack just send me off an e-mail and I'll fix it. Hope you all are having a good holiday!

  • 12/21/03 - Okay, more drastic measures being taken...had to remove the pics out of the caption contest archives... we still probably won't make it to the end of the month though... so, just to let you all know, if the site goes down, I can guarantee it will definitely be back up by the 15-16 of January, though hopefully our issues will be fixed before then.

  • 12/19/03 - I can't apologize enough for this...but I had to temporarily take down the spoofs section. Due to the release of ROTK this site is getting huuuge amounts of visitors and almost the entirety of our monthly bandwidth has been used in 5 days. In order to keep the rest of the site up I had to take down the galleries. As soon as my trouble with Geocities gets sorted we'll have more bandwidth and I'll be able to put the spoofs section back up. Sorry everyone... - Nevermore

  • 12/18/03 - Well, I went to the midnight premier the other night with some friends...wow...I'm so disappointed....there was no Ghan-buri-ghan or winged helms....how shall I ever get on with my life now? The disappointment is too much to bear.
    Seriously though, it was very good! I definitely have disappointments, being a big fan of the books, but I think overall it was a heck of a movie. Gonna go see it again as soon as I can, maybe tomorrow...
    Finally picked a caption contest winner, or two...congrats to Jodie Ann and Adrian! New pic will be up soon. We also have a new poll up, in the last one everyone overwhelmingly thought that Freagol was a name worthy of a Frodo/Smeagol cross. I'm still sorting out issues with Geocities (it feels very much like a one-sided conversation much of the time) but soon, very soon, we shall have our own domain...and then we shall rule the world! Mwahahaha! Or at least... then we'll stop getting shut down because of too much bandwidth usage.

Thanks Gemmysilver!) in the ROTK section, a new song parody complements of KRRouse, several new additions to the "You might be LOTR obsessed..." list and the "You might be turning into a Hobbit if..." lists. We also have a new addition to the parody section, "What NOT to do at the ROTK Premier". Okay, I think that's it... To those of you in school, good luck on your final exams!     Indescribably busy at the moment which is why I haven't updated in over a week, I just stopped by to update the caption contest today.     I just noticed we've had over 19,000 visitors! Thanks to all of you! Don't forget to be voting for us at Tolkien Top 100 too, I made it easier so it opens a new window...don't know why I didn't think of that before...
    Anyway just updating to say that I've put up the new caption contest pic and we also have a new submission to the parodies section, apologies to Tane for taking so long getting this one up. I also had to archive the guestbook again since it filled up. So the guestbook is now totally empty, it looks so lonely in there, someone sign it!

  • 11/18/03 - W007! TTT Extended Edition is out today!! I picked two winners for the caption contest, couldn't decide between the two, so congrats to KRRouse and FreeFall! Sorry, no prizes. If anyone is interested in a contest where you CAN win a prize check out Ringbearer's caption contest for a chance to win a replica of Sting or The One Ring. The RB people are awesome and if you're not a member of the site I'd definitely recommend signing up!

Well, Geocities is being stupid and not letting me register the domain name, so I'll keep trying....someday soon we should have it .I've updated the caption contest, many many submissions. One new addition to the "You might be Obsessed" list. (tis at the bottom) I finally figured out why so many people are having trouble registering at the messageboard, and I put up directions on what to do at the top of the main messageboard page, so if you've had trouble, go check it out and see if it works now.

I got a job finally (yay!) so there's some good news and some bad news... the bad news is that I'll have even less time to update than I do now...I'll still try and at least update once a week though. The good news is that soon I'll be able to afford more bandwidth and a domain name. For the non-computer savvy that means we'll soon be "www.lotrspoofs.com"

  • 9/21/03 - Hullo everyone, sorry for the scarcity of updates lately, but as always, school comes first. Anyway, we have a new poll up as you see. The results of the last one were somewhat what I expected, almost half of you visiting are between 13 and 16. However, I did find slightly disturbing the fact that about 15% of my visitors are dead....ah well, may they rest in peace
    I've added a few new bloopers to the TTT and FOTR sections, thank you all who sent those in. The caption contest has been updated and I'm going to be picking a winner for that soon, I just have to consult with my *cough* distinguished panel of judges *cough* first. Alex M. sent in a song parody which I've added to the parodies section, if anyone else would like to send some in feel free.
    I'm going to be adding a new section to the site, a page with random trivia about the movies, but I need content before I can put it up. I know there's tons of neat facts about the filming out there, but I don't have time to get em all myself. So, I need you all to help me :) If you could send me in any random facts about the movies that you know/have heard please do that, I'll have a section at the bottom of the page to thank everyone who contributed so be sure to sign your e-mails!   • 9/11/03 - Today is the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. I didn't want to let this day go by without saying something in rememberance of that horrible event. Nothing I can say will lessen the pain of those who lost loved ones during or as a result of that tragedy. But know that we will never forget those who suffered and we will remember those who are still suffering in our prayers. God has said "I will never leave you nor forsake you" Hebrews 13:5b, He was with every person who died that day, He heard their last words on this earth and He promises that all who put their faith in Him will go to be with Him in heaven when they die. I don't want to sound cliched but so many people that day went to a better place than this earth could ever be. We will never forget them.
    Those of you who haven't lost anyone in the attacks, don't just let this day go by like any other day, remember what happened, and pray for those still suffering.

    In more regular news, I've updated the caption contest. As you'll be able to see on the 15th, the site went down...again. Still working on getting a job so I can afford more bandwidth, but for now this is the way it's gotta be, sorry all.

  • 9/6/03 - Hullo everyone! Well I survived my first week of school at my new Uni, didn't get lost (go me!) and arrived at most of my classes relatively on time. Still, it'll keep me pretty busy but I'm gonna try and update on a regular basis. Anyway, it seems I forgot to put up a new caption contest pic (doh!)terribly sorry about that...there's one now. Mostly I've been working on behind the scenes web-master-ey things that you might not notice but will make the site run a bit smoother. Oh, just a note to Alatariel who signed my guestbook...homeschooling rocks! I was homeschooled, I loved it and wouldn't have given it up for regular school for anything.

  • 9/1/03 - Happy September everyone! I guess... School starts tomorrow, oh joyous day. Well a winner has been picked for the caption contest, me and my distinguished panel of judges...well okay me and Byonder at any rate, have selected *drumroll* Nilmade's caption as the funniest out of all submitted. So congratulations to Nilmade and thanks to everyone else who sent captions in! I'll have a new pic up soon so we can do it all over again I've put up a new poll and a poll archive as well, there's a link to it under the poll at the left of the screen ( <-- that way for the directionally challanged). Oh and the reason for the poll question....well I'm just curious that's all.

  • 8/13/03 - Gee sorry about that downtime again... it seems I keep exceeding my bandwidth limit for the month before the month is over.... I'm hoping to be able buy my own domain name and more bandwidth soon, that will take care of that problem. At the moment I can't afford it but hopefully that will change provided I get the job I applied for at Barnes and Noble (whee!)

  • 8/4/03 - Today we have a whole slew of new captions for the caption contest, apparently you were only waiting to be able to SEE the pic before you sent your captions in... the little box with the "x" in it wasn't good enough for you I guess! *grumble* picky people.
    I added several new LOTR related Quizzes and weeded out the ones that no longer work. Last but not least we also have a new parody that was sent in by Megan Cherie (thank you!).

  • 8/02/03 - Well I only just realized that the caption picture wasn't working....that's what I get for updating at 2am last time. It's fixed now, and I've also added something new to the Parodies section (thanks to OlorintheWhite), it's a revised version of FOTR, quite amusing, go check it out.

  • 7/31/03 - Okay, finally sorted through all that mail... if you sent me something and I haven't responded to it, I may have deleted it accidentally with all the spam I got, so just re-send it and I'll be sure to get back to you.
    I put up three new spoof pics in the Misc. section, put up a new caption contest pic (compliments of KRRouse), and we have several new additions to the You Might be LOTR Obsessed if... list. Oh and the winner of the last poll was that Neo from The Matrix would have been able to save the hobbits better than Boromir.

  • 7/29/03 - Well all, I’m back. As I’m sure you’ve figured out by now, the “temporary assistant webmaster” didn’t work out…apparently he was too busy terrorizing his own people to bother with mine. Oh well. I’ve put up a new poll, and that’ll have to do for another day or so as I work on sifting through all of the e-mails you’ve sent me.

  • 6/29/03 - Well everyone, this is goodbye for now. I'm going to be away for about a month and won't be able to update the site in that time, I'm working on getting a temporary assistant webmaster, but things don't look promising. I'll be back to updating the site in the first week of August so if you don't feel like checking back between now and then, that's when I can gaurantee an update. At the moment I'm trying to find out where the poll has run off to... I'll have it back up before I leave anyway. Take care while I'm gone everyone! - Nevermore

We also have a new section in Parodies called "You Might be LOTR Obsessed if..." you've probably seen lists like this before, but this one is going to be constantly expanding because you can send me additions to it if you have any.   • 5/28/03 - Yes, I finally got around to updating...I'm currently buried under a mountain of scholarship applications...send help...or a scholarship.
    7 new captioned pics up today, 5 in the FOTR section, one in TTT and one in the Misc. section. Also, just added a couple new things in the Parodies section. Updated the caption contest as well....congratulations people....you're beginning to get funny. I'm working on a FAQ since people keep asking me the same questions...frequently...it seemed fitting. Don't know when I'll have it up though so don't hold your breath.

    Updated the caption contest, and we now have the Abridged LOTR up in the Parodies section, go check it out. Also added a link to an incredibly funny site, Engrish TTT captions, great for a laugh. As you see, we have a new poll...don't complain about it unless you have a better suggestion. I promise to try and think of something better soon.   • 5/19/03 - We have three new spoof pics which I leeched off the incredibly funny site Beware the Chipmunk (check it out!). Two are in the Misc section and one is in the TTT section. We also have a new caption contest and new in the parodies section is the Hastily Assembled 1 Page LOTR. Tis rather funny. Hopefully by next update I will have had a some sort of inspiration as to what to have as the next poll. If you think of anything...e-mail me.

  • 5/14/03 - Gah! Sorry about the downtime everyone, we should be back to normal by tomorrow. Thankfully this only happens once a month but there's no avoiding it unless you all want to send me money for more bandwidth(not a bad idea really...)
    So, we have many new pics up, two in the FOTR section, six in the Misc. section and one in the TTT section. some of the Misc. ones are from the Bakshi animated LOTR, which was a total abomination but is fun to make fun of. I must just say that the TTT-Faramir pic cracked me up...I don't know why but it's just really funny. Okay, enough comment from me, enjoy!

  • 5/13/03 - Finals are now over! Mwahahaha! Tremble in fear at all the free time I shall now have to work on this site! Ahem, yes, anyway. Fear not, all the e-mails you all have been sending to me have not been in vain, I have read them and now finally, the caption contest has been updated. *and there was much rejoicing*
    I have many new spoofs to put up which I promise to have done by tomorrow, however the site will likely go down again because my bandwidth usage is almost up. But let not your heart be troubled! The site will be back up and as good as new on the 15th. Now, I must go food shopping, because food is a good thing to have. Fare thee well.

  • 5/8/03 - Okay, to make up for my neglecting the site lately I've added a whole load of new pics, in the FOTR section and I have a bunch more to put up within the next few days (but not now...it's 3am). Also, the caption contest has been updated. I'd update the poll but I'm out of ideas and my brain is fried. I'm thinking of moving the messageboard to ezboards since I'm having some sign-in trouble with the current one...not that anyone knows it exists anyway...Hopefully once school is over I'll be able to get some good spoofs up for ya'll (yes I said "ya'll").

  • 4/29/03 - Okay, sorry for the lack of updates recently, finals are totally swallowing me up. On the bright side that means school is almost over! Two more weeks before freedom!! YAY!

  • 4/20/03 - Happy Easter everyone! Much new this update...we have a new poll up. In the last one the most picked answer was Legolas' "A red sun rises. Blood has been spilled tonight" as the coolest line so far. New caption contest pic is up. There are also seven new pics in the spoof section, one in the Misc. and six in the FOTR section. I e-mailed the author twice asking permission and never got a response...I took that as a yes. If s/he sees them and wants them taken down s/he can e-mail me and I will do so. But until then, enjoy!

  • 4/9/03 - Well, since I started paying for this site my daily hits have increased x3 and consequently my bandwidth usage has also gone up...unfortunately my bandwidth allotment is almost up until my next billing period...oh joy. So, all this to say, if the site should go down due to using too much bandwidth, you can check back again on the 15th of this month at which time it will be back up as usual.
