The Great Eyebrow Epidemic of Middle Earth

In the viewing of the film adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, one can’t help but notice the wonderful things all of the people involved with the project have accomplished. But then, when looking closely, or after watching them over and over again, one begins to notice that some things just don’t quite match up. Like being the mismatching of eyebrow and hair color. Some examples shown below.

• First we have Elrond, now his colors match but still, they are slightly bizarre.
  

• Secondly we view this unusual specimen. Called by some, Merry. Properly titled Merridoc Brandybuck. His eyebrows are only slightly discolored. Not such a bad example. Only the beginning of the epidemic taking effect.
  

• Here we have a very strange case of eyebrow epidemic indeed. This is the chameleon effect variety of the illness. Here is the before shot of our subject,

• This is one of the strangest discoloration effects in all of Middle Earth. Ladies and Gentlemen, brace yourselves, I give you, Legolas Greenleaf.
